I've never had a great trust for simplicity. As someone who's studied the behavior of complex systems (like human social behavior) for over 20 years now, I've always looked for the unmarked territory. That started out of pure necessity. As a newly minted chiropractor in the early 90's I was catching the wave that would become the "Decade of the Brain" so there was neuroscience cookies everywhere. At the same time, the era of managed care was in it's infancy. So I needed to adapt and fast! That mad scramble led to me publish a 2-part research paper as the decade ended.
