Somatic Strategies – Rip-A-Day Diary (events)/Crayon Meditation (emotions)
 
Rip-A-Day Diary - Buy yourself a spiral notebook with 90 - 120 pages. Each day, write the date at the top of the page Spend a fixed amount of time, {more than 5 minutes, less than 15}, writing down your thoughts. When your done, read it once, absorb the wisdom, rip it out and throw it away. You can accomplish the same benefit by calling your v-mail, listening back with you left ear to get the
emotional tone, then hold the phone off to your left and erase it. Some clients prefer to use the computer and type out their entry. That's OK too. Just erase it  so the screen is off to the left of you, again to ensure that your brain places it your past.
 
Crayon Meditation - get a big box of Crayolas and go quiet, eyes closed for a full minute, which is 20 complete breath cycles - then with the eyes still closed, let yourself see the color of the clearest future path open to you that day. Open your eyes and find that crayon color in the box, break it, throw it away (always to the left). 64 days later, it's open

    Summer - Inhalation (ONTO)/Fall - Impulse To Exhale (ECO) -- Review all the Seasonal Systems here
    Flutter Test -Inhale deeply, close your eyes, look up. Focus on the dates below (events) or the
    feelings associated with them (emotions). If there's incoherence in there, the eyelids will begin
    to flutter involuntarily. Notice the first color that you see or think of as you allow the impulse to
    exhale surface and let you release. Repeat the process to clear this out.
